A few changes at The Deli!

As you may already know, Sir Stephen Bubb resigned both as Chair and director in July this year. We thank Stephen for all his input and efforts in his time as Chair.

If you are a regular at The Deli, you will probably also know by now that after 30+ years at the managerial helm, Lynne Stubbles has decided to retire. We wish her well for the future.

And similarly, Nick Hoyle has decided it is time for him to plough a new furrow. We likewise thank him for all his hard work and wish him well for the future.

It’s likely that you will also have heard that the company which owns The Bull bought the freehold of our home, The Old Bank House a few months ago and is now our Landlord. At the same time, the upstairs flat has been let to a member of their operating company’s team. Our lease expires in 2027 so we are embarking on a few developents in advance of then, in order to preserve the operation of The Deli and Cafe for the community.

We are setting up a user group, for those who would like to give us feedback and have more input into the running of the D & C. We see this as open to all Charlbury residents and we hope would include as wide a range of people as possible – without any obligations attached! Let us know if you are interested.
